Robinsons Starmills Sets Record as the World’s Biggest Mall Solar Power Plant
Another world record was tagged to one of the leading shopping malls in the Philippines. Robinsons Starmill in Pampanga just recently inaugurated their world’s biggest mall power plant that was installed on their rooftop last Monday, May 30, 2016. The 2.88- megawatt solar plant atop Robinsons Starmills just broke the record of SM City North, which recently held the record with its 1.5 megawatts installation.
According to Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) president Frederick Go, “Robinsons Land is continuously looking for ways to adopt sustainable practices and minimize its carbon footprint by steadily shifting to use of renewable energy”. Same facilities are also about to be installed by the RLC on its mall in Tacloban and Bacolod.
