The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) launched a system called Passenger Assist Rail Display also known as “PARDS”.

PARDS is a new system that would allow passengers determine the time of arrival and departure of trains in every LRT-2 Station.

One of the trains of the LRT-2 ha been installed with the Passenger Assist Rail Display system and it will be fully operational in June. The LTRA plans to install 40 monitors in every train of the LRT-2 which will display the location of each trains and it will also show the cause of delay of every train.

The developers also plan to create a mobile application that passengers can install in their cell phones for easier access. It will also include all administrative announcements and emergency situations.
