A School Benefited from CILA’s CSR Project

Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) had their gift-giving program as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Clark. The CILA chose the students from Pulung Bulu Elementary School as their beneficiaries. The said school has a high numbers of dropouts for the past school years, and one of the main reasons is the lack of school supplies.

The principal of Pulung Bulu immediately ask for the support of CILA to be of help in resolving the school’s dilemma. With the cooperation of Parkson Duty Free in Clark and Pandayan bookstore, together with the CILA members, they were able to come up with 200+ school kits that were distributed to the students.

According to CILA, this kind of program is not only for their CSR but also this is their way of giving back to the community. The said project was said to be done annually to be able to sustain the needs of the students, at least if not all but at least some, and be able to lessen their burdens and become an instrument to inspire the students to do what it take to finish their studies
