Philipp Roesler was the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology and the Vice Chancellor of Germany during the administration of Angela Merkel between 2011 and 2013. Previously, he was Minister of the Federal Ministry of Health from 2009 to 2011. In 2014, he became a member of the Managing Board of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland.
