After enduring a five-month terror siege, the residents of Marawi are now starting to rebuild their homes on whatever is left in their villages.

The Philippine government is looking on the brighter side. Instead of a simple rehabilitation, the Philippine government is planning to completely overhaul Marawi and turn it into a high-end urban center.

On the other hand, the Municipality of El Nido decided to ban the use of plastic in the area. The said ban is an attempt to reduce plastic wastes in El Nido, which is a prime tourist destination.

As for sports fanatics, Avid followers of Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings celebrated with their favorite team in a victory party this Friday. Needless to say, the said victory party was held to cherish Barangay Ginebra’s success in the PBA Governor’s Cup last October.
