No More Traffic as Clark-Mabalacat-Angeles Road Soon to Operate.
Good news to start the “BER” months for the Clark Freeport Zone commuters and motorist. (CMAR) is set to ease the traffic congestion in Mabalacat and Angeles road going to Clark once it is opened.
The 6-kilometer, straight, double-lane road project was constructed as part of (CDC) commitment to help decongest traffic in the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat. The said project was funded by CDC, under the management of the former CDC president Atty. Arthur Tugade (now the Secretary of Department of Transportation). The CMAR is targeted to operate by the end of October.
The said road will start at the SM Clark and will end at the Mabalacat Gate. The estimated travel time from Sta Ines/Mabalacat gate intersection road going to Clark Main Gate is 30-45 minutes via private vehicle and riding a public utility vehicle would be longer, due to heavy traffic situation. These travel time will significantly lessen via CMAR. CDC is also looking at other ways to help solve the traffic situation at the intersection along Mac Arthur Highway that connects the Mabalacat Gate to the Sta. Ines entry and exit points of the NLEX.
CDC is continuously improving the facilities of Clark to give the fullest experience to its workers and locators and be able to attract more local and foreign locators. Also Clark is investing, and implementing better road facilities in preparation to host more of the country’s international events and be able to give the hassle-free experience to its visitors and guest.
This improvement of Clark will not only alleviate the traffic problems, but will surely contribute to a seamless and smooth business transactions inside the Freeport zone.
