CIAC Kicks Off Roadshow in Dagupan City

Clark International Airport Corporation(CIAC) launched its second CIAC North Philippines Roadshow in Dagupan City on February 24.

After the first leg in Baguio City, CIAC president and CEO Alexander Cauguiran together with several aviation airlines once again promoted CRK Airport as part of an intensive marketing roadshow.

Cauguiran said that the major objective of the event is to showcase the latest developments in terms of facilities and flight services available at Clark International Airport.

He also further encouraged the patronage of CRK in its catchment areas of North and Central Luzon.

Cauguiran believes that passengers coming from Region I, II , III, Cordillera and CAMANAWA will experience less hassle if they will take flights at Clark Pampanga airport compared to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) which sometimes encounter a set of delays in their flights.

He mentioned about the proposed CIAC Master Development Plan of the Clark International Civil Aviation Complex comprising 2,367 hectares compared to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) with a 700 to 800 land area including the terminals.

“May commitment si President Duterte that before his term expires, we will see the completion of this new terminal.”

The existing terminal covering 400 million passenger capacity will be upgraded to accommodate an additional eight million capacity which will be lead by Secretary Arthur Tugade of the Department of Transportation.

He said that the design of the Master development Plan will be expandable and that it is divided into four phase consisting several developments.

“Nahati sa apat na bahagi ang ginawang Master Development Plan na dapat matapos in the next 30 to 40 years”.

Cauguiran said that goal of the project in the next five to six years is to have two existing terminals with at least 12 million capacity including the long runways, associated taxiways, aircraft parking apron, and other related facilities.

The roadshow was attended by the local government units, aviation airlines such as Qatar Airways, Air Asia, Asiana Airlines, Philippine Airlines, and Emirates Airlines.

The next CIAC roadshows will be held in Olongapo, Balanga, Bulacan and Cabanatuan.
