BCDA Uncovers Exciting Developments for New Clark City

CAPAS, TARLAC – The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) spearheaded the economic briefing and site visitation of the latest developments in Phase1A of the New Clark City.

Agencies and construction offices involved in the development of the New Clark City presented their own project updates and visions for the present administration’s Build Build Build venture.

Engr. Nicholas and Isaac David of MTD Philippines, Arch. Royal Pineda of Budji+Royal Architecture +Design, and Senior Vice President Francis Ceballos of Filinvest Land Inc. shared their insights regarding their current infrastructure assignments respectively.

The said briefing highlighted the advancements in Phase1A’s centerpiece – the Philippine Sports City, a world class sports complex that aims to be Asia’s next integrated sports and leisure destination next to Singapore Sports Hub.

The Philippine Sports City features an athletic stadium that will be built to accommodate 20,000 people and will include a 9 lane class 1-A competition track. It will also feature a massive aquatic center which can hold 2,000 people and has passed the Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) standard requirements which gives the country the privilege to host international cups in water sports.
