Misamis Oriental to Build New Water System
Misamis Orientel is set to install a new water system to cater to the scarcity of water supply in the province.
Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano said that the province will partner with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The project will cover the municipalities of Magsaysay-Lugait where the first phase will start in Balingasag to the town of Laguindingan.
Emano said that the irony is that the province actually has a good water source yet suffers water problems. He also added that the project will be under a Private-Public Partnership agreement for more transparency.
The governor along with other province officials will go to Manila to present the project under the PPP arrangement and the Provincial Board approved the ordinance last April.
