DOTr Moves to Clark Green City by July this Year

Metro Manila taggeds as one of the most crowded cities in the Philippines due to the growing number of the different infrastructures, establishment, residential areas and the different Government Agencies.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr), as one of the Government Agencies, is moving their office to Clark, Pampanga. The DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade said that they will start moving this coming July 2017 regardless if the offices were finished or unfinished. This move is to help Metro Manila reduce traffic congestion.

DOTr has announced that they are moving their main office that is currently located in Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City to Clark Green City in Pampanga, after Vince Dizon, president of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), alotted a 9,450- hectare Clark green City to be maximized by different government offices. Clark Green City is located within the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) and it will be turned into a new site for various government agencies and other businesses both for foreign and local investors.
